“Hi beauties, let me introduce myself. I’m Christian Diaz — a luxury bridal, editorial, and celebrity makeup artist based in Salt Lake City, Utah. With over a decade of experience, my passion lies in creating timeless, radiant beauty for weddings, high-fashion editorials, and red carpet events. From working with the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City to award-winning celebrities at Sundance, I’ve built my brand around one mission: to make every client feel like the most confident, glowing version of themselves. I believe that we all have an inner goddess — and my job is to bring that beauty to the surface. Through my artistry, I help people step into their light, radiating confidence, elegance, and authenticity.
Whether I’m crafting dreamy bridal glam, executing bold editorial looks, or enhancing natural beauty for the camera, my goal is always the same — to deliver artistry rooted in authenticity, excellence, and heart.

As early as I can remember, I have always been attracted to all things beauty. Music, art, fashion, makeup, jewelry, you name it. If its beautiful, I love it.
My makeup journey all started with watching Youtube videos of beauty gurus and makeup artists. They would talk about their favorite products while doing makeup, and I was always in awe of their talent and transformation. I grew up in a small town that didn’t have access to all the products and opportunities that I was seeing online, so when I moved to SLC, a whole new world opened up. I started getting more into cosmetics, all the things my childhood self had been dreaming of.
My makeup journey began unexpectedly, I was planning on becoming a plastic surgeon, doing my undergraduate and prepping for med school. I was also working at Nordstrom in cosmetics to support myself through college. I started in skincare where I worked for a year and fell in love with ingredients and products that actually work, that have real results. I fell in love with the transformational effect of great skincare, and makeup’s transformational power was no different.
My makeup journey truly started when I began working for Charlotte Tilbury. I was trained by the artists who do makeup for the Victoria Secret Angels, and this brought my makeup to the next level, focusing on red carpet makeup and beautiful glowing skin. For years, I built up my clientele, and my artistry and mastery of makeup has just grown and grown.
I left Nordstrom in 2019 to focus solely on my freelance work. I’ve worked with beauty brands such as Younique and Boxy Charm doing corporate advertisements as well as content creation. I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake, and worked with some award winning celebs for Sundance.
My bread and butter is weddings, which is my favorite type of makeup to do and such an amazing experience and day for all my brides and their friends/family.
I am also extremely passionate about anything editorial or high fashion. I love creative makeup looks, I love being in a studio and getting that magic shot that will end up on the billboards or magazines. I love working with a team of creatives and making our dreams come to life.
No matter the type of makeup, I am always having fun and making my clients, my muses, feel the most confident version of themselves.
